Reviews, articles: "Carmen from Olomouc – very young and very talented Barbora Polášková looks like a charming angel or a cat, who can show her teeth and set them when the things are not the way she wants. Her pliable voice and technically balanced voice suited this kind of Carmen very well." (Lidové noviny, July 2, 2010)
"The audience got to know excellent mezzo-soprano Barbora Polášková as a song performer. It is hard to believe the way young artist convincingly affirmed her ambitions of one of the most significant performers of the young generation. She managed to pick the atmosphere in each song and her sophisticated voice was carried without any problems or force over the decent orchestral web arranged by Mácal. The vocal capacity and register of her nice voice proved to me impressive and resounding in extreme pitches." (Hudební rozhledy, No. 3/2011)
"Martínková-Polášková’s vocal capacity is really admirable as well as a dark and very pleasant timbre of her mezzo-soprano." (Harmonie online, December 2, 2014)
